I am still interested in playing and writing music even though I am not playing out right now due to breaking my back. I miss playing on stage so much, it's a high that I've never got from anything else before. I love feeling the vibration going through my body as I play and I also love the energy that is given back and forth from my bandmates and the audience. I am going to see if there is anyway I can upload some of my music here.
I am a huge James Taylor fan, and my favorite type of music is singer/songwriter acoustic rock/folk/alternative. I am also into Blues like Kenny Wayne Shepard, John Mayor, I love R&B & Soulful Jazz like John Legend, I could go on and on because I love music! I even like hearing unsigned artist too, some of the best music is unsigned artist. It would be a much shorter list to put what I don't like. I don't like Rap the type that calls women B***hes & Hos. I do like hip hop a lot though.
Movies:
At the time it would have to be, Across The Universe. I really enjoy Independent movies, the last one I seen and liked was, Once.
Being a musician/songwriter myself I enjoy hearing and seeing the diamond in the ruff type stuff.
TV:
Intervention, Survivor, Amazing Race, Almost all real detective shows- not the made up ones the ones on Real TV aka Court TV, 30 Rock, Big Bang Therory, almost anything funny, I don't like to tell people, but Big Brother 9 "head held in shame"
Right now I am reading, "A New Earth" and I have to say I am loving it! The last book I read before that was a seft taught book on fixing your computer. GEEK....:)~ ha ha
