Team PokerStars' newest member Daniel Negreanu attacked the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em shootout event and made it all the way to the final table. After an aggressive assault on the final nine players, Negreanu ended up finishing in third place for a cool $101,351.
The Negreanu Open is a series of weekly $10 tournaments where players can win weekly prizes, earn points, and can qualify to play in quarterly tournaments with Daniel Negreanu. This upcoming season will be held at pokerstars.com.
The 2007 season is broken up into 4 quarters with two tournaments running each week. Every Tuesday is the Mixed Game night which rotates each week between Limit Stud, PL Hold Em, PL Omaha, Limit Hold Em, Limit Stud 8, NL Hold Em, and Limit Omaha 8. Every Wednesday is always No Limit Hold Em Night.
Each night has their own seperate leaderboard where points are kept for each game. This season will be kicking off shortly, so check back to find out more information!
