I am happy to say that I am a Grandmother. But let’s go back a little further, I was raised in a Christian home and sheltered all my life. I graduated a year early from High School at the age of 16. I got married a year after finishing High School and started my family soon thereafter. My three sons were born by the time I was 23 years old. The reason I tell you all this is to let you see that my life has always been about family. I have no college education, except for a 6 month community college I attended after my boys were all in school.
After my divorce from their father my life was a continual struggle trying to find a job that would pay me enough to support them. Without an education the job paying decent money couldn’t be found. I’m not telling you this to complain or for pity but for encouragement. I knew there had to be a better way. About 5 years ago I started searching for an opportunity that I could work from home and build my own business.
Well, in Feb 2007 I received a post card in the mail offering me an opportunity, the message on the post card was hand written so it really intrigued me to find out more. So, after holding onto the card for several weeks I finally called to find out what this opportunity was all about. I called and spoke with Chris and she begin to explain about the opportunity, at first I was very skeptical being I had tried other things that never worked out for me because of hidden expenses that they didn’t tell you about upfront. But when she started telling me about Ameriplan and the great benefit packages they have to help people save money on their health care she got my attention. I had been without any medical insurance for 10 years so I knew that this was a service that was really needed by so many people just like me.
I can truly say that it was a gift from God. This year has been a great experience I have grown so much and have had the awesome opportunity to help so many people not only with the benefits but with the opportunity to have financial freedom.
