| =L'Arc~en~Ciel, Laruku, Le Ciel= This is still the first and the largest L'Arc~en~Ciel fan-gathering base on Friendster. We welcome all folks from the whole universe who enjoy their music so much... L'Arc~en~Ciel, a rock/pop/punk group from Japan, a living legend, brings rock with upbeat-melodic bass as their primary earmark. Together with Hajime Okano as co-arranger, they write many songs, both easy-listening and heavy ones. L'Arc~en~Ciel consists of : 1. Hyde - Vocal. Vocalist with powerful voice, though sometimes has a mixed minner with sweet-pop-falsetto.. Hyde write most of Laruku's song lyrics, released many solo projets, and starred some movies. He plays saxophone, guitar, and draws (?) 2. Tetsu - Bass. The frontman, a skillful bassist, pioneer of such melodic bass adopted for J-Rock, though his style is considered remarkably insane^_^.. Long pattern bass notes, slides, backward slides make L'Arc's song could be easily identified. Tetsu goes solo as Tetsu69, and he sings as well as he sing for P'Unk~en~Ciel and D'Ark en Ciel. 3. Ken - Guitar. Guitarist with 90's guitar sounds and riffs. Always put many adv colourful and breezy chords (-m7 and M7, -add9) and sophisticated riffs, along with those pick-scrapes... Sometimes he plays keyboards in some recording sessions. Ken is a frontman of S.O.A.P. and plays drumset for P'Unk~en~Ciel. 4. Yukihiro - Drums. A drummer who is really good playing fast tempos. Dynamic, powerful and accurate differs his style with any other J-Rock band. Often puts bunch of snareroll and triplets drumfill within the songs... Yukki does drum loop, plays bass for P'Unk~en~Ciel and does remixes, and goes solo with ACID ANDROID. |
