| Phantom, Our Beloved Companion | It has been a really long weekend and a very sad day for our family.
Today, at 4:45pm EST our dear companion, Phantom, passed away. She will
be sorely missed and it was by far the hardest choice we have ever
made. She just had gotten to the point that she couldn't walk and was
laboring to breath. It all happened very fast. I want to thank all of
you who took the time to let me know you were thinking of us as this
progressed.
1997-2008 We love you Princess and will miss you forever

 | Update | Well the x-rays show it is in her lungs too and they did a clot test. That
showed that her blood doesn't clot fast enough so surgery isn't an option.
The good news is the vet thinks that we can treat the infected tumor with
antibiotics. He also prescribed a cortisone steroid. He said that a lot of times
steroids will reduce the tumors a bit. If she reacts well to the steroids and
antibiotics she may still have a year or so of good quality life. So cross your
fingers, pray etc that the meds do their job.

 | Prayer - Healing Energy Request | This is an out there request but if any of you are spiritual in
nature will you please say a prayer or send healing energy towards my
kitty, Phantom, and our family. I called off
work today and took her in to the vet this morning because I noticed
she was bleeding. She has breast cancer and a tumor broke the surface.
They found two more small lumps. They are doing X-rays right now to
determine if it has spread out into her lungs and other organs. If it
has, we will probably need to have her put to sleep. If it hasn't they
will do a mastectomy on her next Monday or Tuesday. Either way we all
need some extra support as this is emotional for all of us and with the
possible surgery comes additional financial burden. Surgery is around
$800 with the anesthesia, meds and after care. I
realize she is a cat, but she has been apart of our family since before
our children were born. She just turned 11 in January and the vet seems
to think she has quite some time let in her provided it hasn't spread
far.

 | Marketing Pond | My sister finally dragged me into this LOL I am actually pretty suprised on it all. So far the best programs I have discovered are ClixSense, Donkey Mail, Nocturnal Mail. So if you want to make some free money, check out my Marketing Pond link. Note that this isn't big bucks. But it is free and easy to get.

 | Eggs Galore! | The hens are really producing now. Our four hens are laying between 4-7 eggs daily. They aren't jumbo sized but they are large. These are not fertilized as we don't have a man for our ladies. These are for food purposes only. I have some marketing questions I need help figuring out. I would love if some of you would pretend you are interested in buying organic, free range eggs and answer some questions. My questions are
- What would you think is a fair price for free range, organic eggs? - What is the highest you would pay for said eggs (by the dozen) if you knew they came from a good source? $1.5, $2, $2.50, $3, $3.50, $4, $4.50, $5? - Would you want to buy them by the half dozen? A full dozen? - We have green and browns. Would you prefer one color, half and half, or mixed?
This is a brand new venture for me as I don't really recall us selling eggs when I was young and raising chickens. I may add some more questions later. Also, if you have any other feedback or suggestions, feel free to email me.
