No one knows you better than your significant other, and on Valentine's Day what a better way to feature a profile than to have it written by the one who loves you most.

Taylor writes:

"My wife is originally from Botswana, Africa. I met her online and knew straight away that she was the one for me. She is the most beautiful woman I have ever met, inside and outside. More importantly inside, she has a heart of an angel, she is just the most amazing selfless woman I have ever known, she has basically changed me and made me a better person just watching how she deals with people and how she can be moved into action by a situation I will normally consider none of our business.

OK, so you say Survivor challenges online in the comfort of your own home is nothing compared to the real Survivor challenges.  Well, what if you had to get up in the middle of the night to compete in every competition in a language that wasn't your primary language?  Yuwie's first winner of Yuwie Survivor had to do just that.

Jude says, "Waking up was killing me!!!  Mostly I was almost asleep when I sat beside my computer.  There were times when I didn't find my glasses, so reading instructions with sleepy eyes without glasses was just a nightmare.  My brain was just in sleep mode and I had to read the instructions of the challenge several times to understand them.  To be honest, there were mornings when I did wish to be voted out."  You see, Jude had to get up at 3am to compete in the competitions because he is a native of Finland.  This dedication paid off because with almost half of the public votes and half of the juy votes, Jude unanimouly won Yuwie's first season of Survivor.

Jude takes that no quit attitude with everything in life.  He tells Yuwie members to not lose hope with anything in life.  He says that life is full of challenges and that is the fun part of it.  "The harder the challenge, the better you feel when you make it as a winner.  Just never give up."

When not online, Jude spends a lot of his time competing in ballroom dancing where his specialty is Latin-American dances and Standards.  Even though he took a 30 year hiatus, Jude now spends four days a week at the dancehall.

So Jude, who is accustomed to competition, was hanging out in Yuwie reading blogs when he came accross the Survivor blog, he jumped in feet first thinking it was a good idea.  So, was it worth it?  Well, just for getting the February featured profile got him free referrals . . . congratulations, Jude!!

On the day that this season's American Idol premieres, we at Yuwie are showcasing talent that can be found right here at Yuwie.

Surreal has been singing since she was 11.  She has come a long way in the last 16 years.  Surreal first sang with a group when in high school when she sang with a four girl group called 'nuff said.'  Now, getting her influence from singers such as Rachelle Ferrell, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Sade, Xcape, and Laryn Hill, Surreal not only sings back up for Tashawn Jackson out of Boston, but she also writes and sings her own songs while just waiting for that one big break.

One of her songs, After the Kiss can even be downlaoded on your phone to be played as a ringtone.  You can check out After the Kiss and other Surreal songs on her profile HERE on Yuwie.

Straight from The College of St. Rose in Albany, NY comes our first featured profile of 2008.  Meet the first featured band of Yuwie, One Over Chaplin.

One Over Chaplin is a five piece indy pop-punk band that has been around since 2006 when the members of the band all attended The College of St. Rose.  Starting by playing cover songs, they slowly weaved originals into their set.  And, their originals are definitely original.  They have a very different sound that is very catchy, and like most other bands in their genre, most of their songs are about struggles in love and life, hardships of being adorable in this unforgiving world and even happy songs about just being alive.  It's not a surprise that their following by college age fans has grown rapidly.

The band started by playing in fundraising events, but future plans include the hope that their tunes will catch on and their influence will spread as they continue to write new songs and keep playing shows.

One Over Chaplin has one of their original songs playing on their profile, so be sure and go CHECK THEM OUT!

This will be the first of four featured blogs for the month of November about what all we have to be thankful for.

Even though Thanksgiving is an American holiday, the whole world can take an interest in finding what all we have to be thankful for.

This first featured spot already breaks the rules . . .  it is a featured photo albulm.  Even though it is a photo albulm, it so easily depicts what we all have to be thankful for in this world.
